The Mount Washington Hotel

Hi! Sorry it's taken a while to get pictures from this adventure up on the Blog- I'm trying to make a slideshow of the pics for ease of viewing. Anyways, The Mount Washington Hotel was....awesome, beautiful, exciting, and yes, HAUNTED! We did not catch anything paranormal on film, except for an interesting orb that was different than the norm, but- well, we put very little stock in orbs. (Usually Orbs are the result of a piece of dust or it's a bug,  lens reflection, or a thumb too close to the lens or a camera strap.) Had a couple of interesting KII Meter hits that could not be explained and some personal experiences.  The TAPS crew were all awesome- very personable, friendly, kind and very informative. Steve Gonsalves gave a great "Tech Talk" all about equipment, Kristyn Gartland gave her "Paranormal 101" talk, (she rocks! She's got a great sense of humor!) when speaking with her and telling her about The HeeBee-JeeBees, she got excited and said she would LOVE to come and give a talk to all of you girls! (WOO-HOO! Can't wait!) (Steve said he might be able to do something for us also!) Tango is so....sweet! Polite! Funny as anything(and fearless!)! Jason and Grant gave a great talk, had awesome footage to share, evp's- cool stuff! Amy Bruni and Kris Williams as well as Britt Griffith were there as well. Jeff Belanger, gave a awesome talk on "Spirit Communication" that was very informative and interesting- he's an author of many books about the paranormal- and he's the main man behind www.ghostvillage.com look for the link to ghosthunting for kids- it's GREAT! Mike Brody, the paranormal comedian, was hysterically funny! (He's the guy in the picture next to the Sasquatch!) The Mount Washington Hotel was fun to investigate, we got to explore parts that are closed off to the public such as  the North and South Towers, "The Wall" area where Hotel employees have signed their names since the hotel opened in 1902. We also explored public areas, but as we investigated at night(9:00pm-4:00am)  and the hotel was inhabited only by ghost hunters for the weekend, we got to roam and investigate all of the places where activity has been reported (for many many years!) The dining room, the ballroom, the Cave, The Princess room, The other ballroom (in the new addition) and the Bretton Arms. Cool stuff!!! We are going again next year (Yes, we already made the reservations!)
